Our story
A story of tradition and genuine welcome
In 1974, my grandparents, Anna and Benedetto, opened the “Ristorante Capo al Piano”, which over the years became a local landmark for hospitality and good food in Marciana Marina. The home-style dishes prepared with local ingredients by Grandma Anna, together with the warm welcome and Elban dialect jokes from Grandpa Benedetto, contributed to the restaurant’s success for more than twenty years.
After a series of different managements over time, Anna and Benedetto passed away in 2014. From that moment on, our family sought a way to preserve the emotional and symbolic value of this place, so important to the local community and to the town’s history.
The grandparents’ house became our family home and, together with the former restaurant spaces, was carefully renovated. In 2019, “B&B Capo al Piano” was born — a project that proudly carries the original name, in tribute to Anna and Benedetto, and that today warmly welcomes all guests who choose to stay in Marciana Marina.
